We all love the games we play. Most of us tend to enjoy playing games within a particular genre or two. For those of us who actively seek new, good video games, I figured, since you have already done the research for personal reasons, why not share the wealth with the whole group!
Identifying each individual's passions not only helps in providing direction for the individual but also encourages collaboration between people who share a common passion. So, on the right column, you'll find a list of various video game genres and under each category the people that have displayed a unique interest for it (names can be changed to handles, if preferred).
That being said, here is my proposal:
- Confirm that your true passions are mentioned on the Genre Specialist list
- Carry on with your daily routine
- At some point, being the active gamer that you are, you will find a game that will peak your interest
- If this game turns out to be something you'd definitely be interested in, either simply copy/paste a good review on this blog OR buy the game, play it and give us a first hand review yourself!
- Just be sure to add a label at the bottom of your post with the relevant genre (labels for each genre have already been created) so that we can always search out your game review using the labels cloud
- This activity can be as frequent (or infrequent) as you like - weekly, monthly, whatever! It will just give the whole group a chance to enjoy the same experience you've had with a game. And if the games we blog about happen to be multiplayer, this joint effort will provide a kind of 'menu' for LAN parties! It's easy, fun and a great way for our group to take advantage of the synergy of our diverse interests!
